Here you will find answers to the most frequent questions about the Alpenchalet holiday apartments in Rabland (Partschins).

Are dogs / pets allowed?

Yes, dogs are welcome at the Alpenchalet apartments. Please mention your dog when you enquire so we can assign a suitable apartment. The current fee is €10 per dog per night.

How far is the Alpenchalet from Merano?

The Alpenchalet is in the centre of Rabland, municipality of Partschins, about 7 km from the spa town of Merano and roughly 1.4 km from the centre of Partschins, at 525 m at the entrance to the Vinschgau valley.

Is there free parking?

Yes. Guests have free parking right at the house and spaces in our underground garage, with no reservation needed. Bicycles and e-bikes are also stored safely in the garage.

How many guests do the apartments sleep?

We have five apartments of different sizes: Edelweiß (approx. 31 m², 2 guests), Alpenrose (39 m², 2–4), Bergkristall (42 m², 2–4), Sonnengruß (46 m², 2–4) and Panoramablick (58 m², 4–6 guests, ideal for families or two couples).

Do the apartments have mountain views and a balcony?

Yes. The apartments are furnished in a modern style with oak floors and have balconies facing the mountains. The west-facing balcony lets you enjoy the sun from midday until sunset; some apartments also have an east- or south-facing balcony.

What is included in the price?

Included are electricity, water, heating, kitchenware, bed and bath linen, bathrobes, soap, lotion, hairdryer, safe, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a digital newspaper service, use of two e-bikes and the garage, free entry to the public outdoor pool in Partschins, and the panoramic rooftop terrace with Finnish sauna, whirlpool, barbecue, sun loungers and skybar.

Is there a private kitchen?

Yes, every apartment has a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, kettle, crockery and pots – ideal for self-catering.

Is there a pool and wellness area?

We do not have our own outdoor pool. However, the panoramic rooftop terrace has a Finnish sauna and a whirlpool, and our guests enjoy free entry to the public outdoor pool in Partschins.

Are e-bikes or bicycles available?

Yes, two e-bikes are available to guests free of charge – perfect for reaching many spots without a car, such as the Adige cycle path or the centres of Rabland and Partschins.

Is the South Tyrol Guest Pass included?

Yes, the South Tyrol Guest Pass is free for our guests and allows free use of public transport throughout South Tyrol for the entire stay.

Is the Alpenchalet suitable for families?

Yes, very much. The central location is quiet and walkable; a public playground is right next to the house and the bakery is a few steps away. A high chair and cot are provided free of charge, and the apartments with their own kitchen are ideal for families.

Which hikes start nearby?

Rabland lies at the Texelgruppe Nature Park, the largest in South Tyrol. 240 km of marked trails allow hiking „on three levels“: the Waalwege in the valley, panoramic and high-altitude trails, and summit tours. Two cable cars (Texelbahn and Aschbach) open up both sides of the valley; the Meraner Höhenweg is one of the finest traverses in the Alps.

You book directly at booking.alpenchalet.info or send a no-obligation enquiry. Cancellation terms: free up to 60 days before arrival, 40 % from 59 to 15 days before, 60 % from 14 to 8 days before, and 70 % of the booking value from 7 days before arrival.
